Today was a rough Monday at work. It was a pretty crazy day, and I know that the stress isn’t doing me any favors. Luckily I only have about a month and a half left until our big move so I am literally counting down the days
B: 3 eggs cooked in butter, gouda cheese, 1/2 avocado, coffee with cream
L: leftover crock pot chowder from yesterday
S: piece of grain-free banana bread with some of HEAB’s 2 ingredient fudge
D: grass fed burger with melted cheddar, 1/2 avocado, mayo, green beans w/ butter
I hate making burgers on my stove, I can’t wait to move somewhere where I can have a real grill! For some reason I get grossed out by them, even when I make them in my grill pan.
Today on my commute I got back into the Angriest Trainer podcast. I listened to them pretty much every day for a while and then started listening to some other stuff. Vinnie’s stance is NSNG – No Sugar, No Grains, which I do find to be a pretty simple way to look at this way of eating. I think that it does make you feel like you are not being super restrictive, and he does expect you to put some “life into living” here and there (as it works for each person of course). It’s so funny how I heard about this months ago and am just now coming back around to this more simplified idea…I find that is usually the way it works with me!
Time to get some much needed sleep…
